Sugar International Rectalis Rectal Balloon Pressure Catheters (Simple & Double)

The Rectalis catheters are Sugar International's balloon devices for anorectal rehabilitation. Instead of electrodes, they use an inflatable rectal balloon connected to a pressure-measuring device, so the clinician can monitor pressure and give pressure-based biofeedback. Balloon catheters of this type are commonly used in anorectal biofeedback programmes for faecal incontinence and defaecation disorders, as directed by the treating clinician.

Simple Rectalis has a single balloon. Rectalis Double has two balloons, for protocols that call for a second measuring point.
