Overview

ACCU-BAND combines point pressure with a static magnet. ACCU-BAND 800 uses a ferrite magnet of 80 mT (800 gauss) with mixed north-south poles; it is water-resistant and rust-free, adheres even in water and is applied to areas such as the shoulders, arms and legs.

ACCU-BAND 6000 and ACCU-BAND 9000 use high-strength rare-earth magnets, 24K gold-plated, rated 600 mT (ø4.0 × 1.6 mm) and 900 mT (ø5.0 × 1.6 mm) respectively. They come on ø19 mm band-aids with the north pole facing up and the south pole marked by a dent underneath. Replacement plasters with a positioning hole are available.

Magnetic products should not be used by people with pacemakers or other implanted electronic devices; follow ITO's labelling.
