Overview

The NeuroTrac Simplex (ESS102) is a dedicated EMG biofeedback unit with no stimulation output, designed for clinician-supervised muscle assessment and training. Muscle activity is shown on an LED bar graph and LCD readout with audio prompts, so patients can see and hear when they reach the target.

A short timed contraction sets the threshold automatically; work and rest periods (2–99 s) and trial counts are configurable, and a selectable band-pass filter helps reduce heart-rate interference. At the end of a session the unit reports average work, rest, onset and release values. Preset programmes cover incontinence, sports and muscle development and neuromuscular rehabilitation, a lock function protects settings, and optional PC software connects wirelessly up to 10 m. Typical battery life is about 40 hours on a single 9 V cell.
