Overview

The ITO ES-5400 is a multi-channel electrotherapy unit from ITO Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation (Japan), offering 4 independent output channels in a compact tabletop housing.

It provides interferential (IF-2 and IF-4 with vector sweep), EMS, Russian, high-voltage, TENS, microcurrent, galvanic, faradic, diadynamic and Traebert currents, as well as I/T curve and AQ diagnostic modes. Constant-current or constant-voltage output is available depending on the mode, with CV automatically compensating for changes in skin resistance. Clinicians can choose from 28 editable protocols via a body diagram, store 120 of their own, and run two therapy courses in sequence. An optional SU-540 vacuum unit supports suction electrodes.

Who it is for: physiotherapy clinics, hospital rehabilitation departments and sports medicine practices in the UAE using electrotherapy for pain management, muscle re-education and strengthening.
