Overview

The ES-1601 extends ITO's electro-acupuncture range to six output channels, which can be split into two independently adjustable groups of three. Eight treatment modes are available: Const.1, Const.2 (a European protocol), Surge.1 for training weakened muscles, Surge.2 (ITO's proprietary pain-relief mode), Burst, Sweep, HAN alternating frequency and MCR microcurrent.

Frequency runs from 0.2 to 500 Hz, and a maximum-intensity selector offers LOW 10 mA, MID 20 mA and HIGH 40 mA peak ranges, with polarity selection and a timer up to 60 minutes. Six colour-coded lead wires make needle connections easy to track. The device runs on four C-size alkaline batteries or an optional AC adaptor, measures 241 × 173.5 × 46 mm and weighs about 600 g.

ITO currently lists the ES-1601 as coming soon; availability in the UAE should be confirmed with ENZYM MEDICAL.
