Overview

Weighted vests are commonly used by occupational therapists to give steady proprioceptive input during seated work, transitions or movement, helping some children and adults stay organised and focused. This vest slips over the head and fastens at the shoulders and sides with Velcro.

Weight packs fit into eight concealed pockets, four at the front and four at the back, so weight can be placed symmetrically and adjusted. The lower part folds up and fixes with an internal Velcro strip, letting the vest grow with the child. It is made from soft, breathable, fire-retardant fabric and can be machine washed once the weights are removed.

Five sizes: XS (0.9 kg) to XL (3.6 kg). Use as directed by a therapist.
