Overview

The Rompa Maxi Bubble Tube is a core piece of any Snoezelen® multi-sensory environment. A column of rising bubbles moves through gently changing colours while the tube emits a soft vibration and a low hum from the pump, giving visual, tactile and auditory input at the same time.

The 1.75 m height is a popular choice for a full multi-sensory room: tall enough to act as the room's focal point while staying within reach for most users.

Therapists and teachers use the tube to calm and relax, to lift mood, and to encourage visual tracking, colour recognition, reaching and hand-eye co-ordination. Users can hug the cool, firm tube to feel the vibration through the body. When paired with a Rompa wireless controller or microphone, the tube becomes interactive, helping users explore choice, control and cause and effect.

The tube has a 15 cm diameter on a 51 cm base and is designed to integrate with Rompa padded bases and acrylic mirror panels.
