Overview
The Ultraviolet Abstract Tactile Panel keeps all the touch appeal of the original panel and adds UV-responsive surfaces. When installed in a darkened room with a UV light nearby, parts of the panel glow vividly, creating eye-catching focal points that help users locate and explore the different textures.
The combination of textures, touch experiences and temperature contrasts supports tactile discrimination and fine motor exploration, while the glowing areas encourage visual attention and tracking, which is particularly useful for users with low vision.
The panel has a wooden frame and is wall-mounted. A UV light source is needed to activate the effect.
