Musical Water Bed by Rompa® – Queen

The Queen-size Musical Water Bed is the largest of Rompa's musical water beds, giving room for a user to stretch out fully or for a carer to sit alongside. The water mattress moulds to the body for even support, keeps the user warm and muffles outside sound, while a large loudspeaker cabinet built into the wooden base transmits rhythm, tone and beat as vibration through the water.

This combination of deep, even support and felt sound is widely used in multi-sensory rooms for relaxation, body awareness and shared musical experiences, including with people who have sensory impairments or profound and multiple learning disabilities. The supplied amplifier connects to a CD player or music system, and the included microphone lets users and staff create sound interactively.

Made to order with a choice of colours (allow around 28 days). It is intended for therapy sessions, not as a permanent bed. Size 160 x 200 x 45 cm.
