Musical Water Bed – Double

The Rompa Musical Water Bed combines the comfort of a water bed with sound you can feel. A powerful amplifier transmits fine vibrations of rhythm, tone and beat through the water, and these are picked up through the skin as tactile stimulation.

The bed moulds itself to the body, offering warmth, comfort and muffled sound, an experience sometimes compared to the sensations of the womb. This makes it a central piece for relaxation in multi-sensory rooms and is particularly valued for users with profound and multiple learning disabilities or limited movement.

A microphone is included, so the bed can also be used interactively: users and staff can create their own sounds and feel them through the bed. The double size offers space for a user and a carer, or for two users. A range of cover colours is available.
