Overview
The Discovery Dressing Cube gives children a safe, hands-on way to practise the fastenings they meet every day. Each face of the soft cube carries a different closure, typically a zip, a strap and pin-free buckle, Velcro, buttons, laces with eyelets and poppers, so learners can work on one skill at a time before transferring it to their own clothes.
Occupational therapists and teachers use dressing cubes to develop pincer grip, finger strength, bilateral co-ordination and independence in self-care. Bright colours and varied textures keep the activity engaging. Made from polyester, brushed cotton, webbed nylon and plastic press studs; hand washable. Approx. 20 x 20 cm.
