Overview
The Ball Blanket offers a different kind of deep-pressure input from pellet-filled blankets. Its pockets are filled with hollow polyethylene balls that shift and roll as the user moves, giving weight, gentle massage and a sense of being held that many people find soothing.
Occupational therapists use ball blankets to provide proprioceptive input for calming and body awareness, during rest periods, before sleep or as part of a sensory diet. The balls can be taken out, allowing the micro-suede cover to be machine washed, and strong touch-fasteners keep the pockets closed during use.
Size 178 x 140 cm. Colours may vary. Use under the guidance of a therapist.
