Overview
The Abstract Tactile Panel is Rompa's best-selling tactile panel. Its contemporary design combines fluid shapes, raised and recessed areas and a carefully chosen mix of textures that contrast in temperature, softness and hardness, and smoothness and coarseness. Materials include fabric, metal, carpet, synthetic turf and safety mirror.
Running hands over the surfaces invites different movements and supports fine motor function, while the bright, distinct sections help with colour recognition, visual perception and discrimination. It needs no power, so it can be placed in sensory rooms, corridors, classrooms or waiting areas.
