Overview

The HUR Offload is a body-weight-supported training frame that uses pneumatic (air-pressure) technology to deliver constant, smooth unloading. By reducing the weight a patient carries, therapy such as treadmill walking can begin earlier after surgery, injury or neurological events.

The compensation weight is changed at the press of a button in small increments, giving controlled progression. A two-rope suspension supports sideways and backward turning for more natural walking, and the open frame leaves the therapist full access to the patient's legs while remaining easy to enter for older adults and wheelchair users. It is made in Finland and comes in Low Frame (6100) and taller (6102) versions, each in standard or wide widths to fit treadmills up to 95 or 115 cm wide.
