PINO

PINO's story starts in 1904, when Michael Herbstreith founded the company in Schopfloch in Germany's northern Black Forest. In 1907 it moved to Freudenstadt and began producing conifer essential oils, and over the following decades it built a name in bath, massage and wellness products under brands such as PINODOR and SILVAPIN. Fango packs followed in 1974 and the PINOFIT sports line in 1976, when the company became PINO GmbH. In the 1990s the Schwarzkopf family took over leadership, and the business has since been run from Hamburg, where it moved into a new office building in 2021. PINO introduced its first kinesiology tapes in Germany in 2006, originally as PINOFIT Physiotape and renamed PINOTAPE in 2011, and in 2010 it opened its own therapy-table production in Büren, North Rhine-Westphalia. Today PINO describes itself as a partner to physiotherapy with more than 120 years of experience, supplying practices with PINOTAPE kinesiology and sports tapes, PINOFIT training and fascia tools, LIQUIDERMA and PINO massage oils, lotions and creams, thermotherapy packs, positioning cushions, practice consumables and treatment tables including the PINOPRO line, along with training through the PINO Campus.
