Overview

PINOTAPE® Sport has been "the therapist's choice" since 2006 and is the top seller of the PINOTAPE range. Its carrier is quick-drying rayon (viscose), so it is water- and sweat-resistant and remains comfortable to wear – suitable even for patients with heavy perspiration. The adhesive is applied in a wave form with extra-strong adhesion for high exposure to stress, and the tape emulates the properties of human skin with an expansion of 140-150%.

It is designed for universal use in all physiotherapy taping applications, and in particular for long application durations, intensive athletic strain and extreme stress. Average wearing time is up to approx. 5-7 days; wearing time depends on the body part taped, the application technique (stronger tension shortens wearing time), skin condition and activity. The tape is latex-free, has very good skin compatibility, and is listed by PINO as a laboratory-tested medical product.

The standard 5 m x 5 cm roll comes in 29 solid colours and printed designs, all freely combinable. Wider (7.5 cm, 10 cm), narrower (2.5 cm) and 31 m formats are offered as separate products.
