Overview

Fango is a volcanic mineral mud that is very good at storing and transferring heat; heat therapy with fango is used to relax muscles and promote circulation. PINOTHERM® fangoparaffin has the characteristics of prehistoric fossilised sea mud (Posidonia shale) with fossil content such as minerals and petroleum, mixed with paraffins of different melting points. This makes it fast melting, easy to model and uncomplicated to use.

It offers excellent heat storage and transfer capacity. Two varieties are available and can be freely combined: type N for low viscosity and type K for higher viscosity, each supplied as 24 bars of 500 g (12 kg). A paraffin cleaner and disposable fango foils, cloths and gauze complete the system.
