Overview

The NeuroTrac MyoPlus 4 Pro from Verity Medical (UK) combines EMG biofeedback, EMG-triggered stimulation (ETS) and neuromuscular stimulation in one handheld unit.

Two EMG channels measure muscle activity from 0.2 to 2000 µV RMS, while four stimulation channels deliver up to 90 mA with pulse widths of 50–450 µs and rates of 2–100 Hz. In ETS mode, stimulation is triggered once the patient's voluntary contraction passes a set threshold, reinforcing active effort. Programmes can combine EMG, ETS and stimulation phases, and presets are provided for incontinence, sports and neuromuscular rehabilitation. The full-colour touch screen shows electrode placement guidance, live EMG graphs and biofeedback games, and Bluetooth links the unit to NeuroTrac PC software for patient progress reports.
